1. Purpose
This Cancellation & Refund Policy is designed to ensure fair access to appointments for all clients and to support the sustainability of services provided through the Resplora platform.
2. General Principles
When you book a session, you are reserving a dedicated time with a practitioner.
Late cancellations or missed appointments reduce availability for other clients and impact practitioners.
3. Cancellation Timeframes
The following cancellation terms apply unless otherwise specified by your practitioner:
More than 48 hours before the session
• No cancellation fee
• Full refund or reschedule available
24 to 48 hours before the session
• 50% of the session fee may be charged
Less than 24 hours before the session
• Up to 100% of the session fee may be charged
No-show (did not attend)
• 100% of the session fee will be charged
4. Rescheduling
• Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation and rebooking
• The same timeframes and fees apply
5. Late Attendance
If you arrive late:
• your session may be shortened
• your practitioner may wait up to 10 minutes
• after this time, the session may be treated as a no-show
Full session fees may still apply.
6. Payment and Refunds
• All sessions are prepaid at the time of booking
• Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method
Refunds are not guaranteed and may be subject to:
• practitioner approval
• platform policies
• exceptional circumstances
7. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations can occur.
In cases such as:
• medical emergencies
• serious personal events
fees may be reduced or waived at the discretion of the practitioner or Resplora.
8. Practitioner Cancellations
If a practitioner cancels your session:
• you will be offered a reschedule or
• a full refund
9. Medicare and Rebates
• Cancellation fees are not eligible for Medicare rebates
• You remain responsible for any applicable fees
10. Platform Role
Resplora provides the booking and payment platform.
However:
• cancellation decisions may involve the practitioner
• practitioners are independent and may apply clinical discretion
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time.
